The GOAT retiring

My brother in law will be crushed. Biggest TB fan I know. His wife even said to me last weekend that he realized after last season he wasn’t a Pats fan but a Brady fan.

No argument that he isn’t the GOAT.

For a second I was trying to fit TB12 with Nick Saban’s name.
If you say "Nick Saban retirement" in a mirror three times, a Crimson Tide fan will appear with tree killer and a double barrel.

I think he has more in the tank, so wouldn't necessarily be surprised if he unretired like Favre... Albeit hopefully more gracefully. But, if it is the end, then he had a hell of a career and a legacy for all of football's eternity.

Good move. He's tempted fate & gotten away with it - I think - for too long already.

Hope he has a enough money for retirement. If not, he can mooch off Gisele

Yeah, but there is an antidote: sprinkle paraquat around the oldest tree in your yard, whilst chanting, “Die, War-Damn-Eagle,” and the Bama fans become as scarce as Tennessee fans at a Weight-Watchers meeting!

If speaking of Saban, his hair could carry on 20 more years!!
One last thought: the day he retires there won’t be a dry eye in Tuscaloosa, or a dry pair of pants within 20 miles of Toomer’s Corner.

That is all.

I wouldn't be mooching off her. I'd be mooching ON her - amirite?

Schefter stealing Brady’s announcement. It would be great if Brady announced that Schefter was wrong and he was returning for another season.

These journalists want to get the scoop and Schefter/ESPN are the worst. (I don’t want Brady to do it during the UK game. ;- )

I hated him most of his career until he moved to the bucs. Really liked the way he showed that he was the key all that time.

Really no way to argue he wasn't the greatest. In fact, you can split his career into two and argue either half might be the greatest career of all time. It's truly incredible.

To think he played at that level for that long is mind-blowing. Not only did he play forever, but the amount of games he played in the post season were about 3 total seasons worth of games.

Truly amazing

Brady might return and it will be hilarious.
Well now there are numerous reports that in fact ESPN has jumped the gun.

Brady’s dad and Bruce Arians saying to hold on a bit. TB12 is due $14 mil in a few weeks so….

He may end up retiring but ESPN definitely jumped the gun here. An egg on the face type of thing with their report as of today.

Im not anti journalist, but Schefter can’t give an interview without checking his phone every 15 secs. I think he lives in fear of someone beating him to an NFL scoop. Again, I don’t know that world’s metric for success. But, it appears “first to scoop” is how they keep score. Hope Brady calls them out regardless of his decision.

It’s like reading someone’s eulogy before they die. What a pos journalist. I hope Brady intentionally did this misdirection to screw shefter

He better retire. Tired of him and God bless the rams for ending him last weekend. Respect the guy and he is the goat but enough.
