The College Basketball Coach You Have the Least Respect for

All time or current?

All time is Eddie Sutton and it's not even close.
Current is a tough one. I will have to think on that.

Stallings.

Obnoxiously whiny, highly punchable face, the actual crying episode, the "I WILL ****ING K*** YOU!" episode, the persistent mediocrity.

I would have a tougher time coming up with half as many reasons to respect him, honestly.

Splinter

Dude from Baylor during the murder scandal. What was his name? Bliss or something like that? Dudes trash.

Ok, so many coaches, so little time.

Creen is the creepiest dude on the sidelines. I mean the guy is weird.

I have less than half the respect that ESPN tells me I should have for Coach Kry. The reasons are too numerable to list. No matter how many time Sportscenter tells me he's god's gift to basketball, they are still full of crap.

All time (drum roll) . . . Nolan Richardson. That stunt he pulled before the UAB game and the race card he played over Arkansas showing his sorry arse the road is unforgivable. He cheapened a profound social issue over nothing.

(Dis) honorable mention is none other than . . . MOONPIE ROY

The Jims Boeheim Current and Calhoun past tense, I believe they are both arrogant guys who would do anything to get to the top. Calhoun always acted like our Kentucky teams were not up to his standard.

Roy Williams. The Presbyterian kid. Taking the starters to the locker room before the game was over against FSU. Knows nothing about the scandal for some reason.

honorable mention Stallings, Crean, Marshall

Scott Drew from Baylor. I remember reading about his negative recruiting techniques.....got no time for that crap.

BCG, Bob Knight, Creepy Crean, Roy. Bill Self to some extent for the "we ran out of time" comment, it's understandable when fans can't accept a loss, but a coach needs to be more gracious in defeat.

Crean. The guy's a schmuck. He has no control over his players, is as weird as they come then he does stupid crap like yelling and screaming while attempting to go after one of the Michigan assistant coaches claiming he "ruined our program". What a joke that guy is.
BCG isn't far behind, he did some rotten things while he was at uk.

Bobby Knight, Jim Calhoun and probably Boeheim. Knight because he's a UK basher/hater. Calhoun because he always downplays the quality of UK teams and it's downright obvious. Finally, Boeheim because he threw Cal under the bus regarding Cal's opinions about Saint K and his recruiting advantages he has with USA basketball.

I don't think coach Self was trying to be disrespectful to Kentucky with the "ran out of time" comment. He is not usually disrespectful to opposing coaches/teams other than Scott Drew (who totally has it coming IMHO)

I think he was speaking to his players and the fans.

I'm a complete KU homer and can freely admit that if that game went another hour, week, or was still being played, Kentucky would be ahead and win.

That was a special team. No harm in recognizing that. Is what it is man. (Or was what it was).

1. Roy Williams- A liar and a cheater, just an absolutely astounding lack of ethics.
2. billy gillispie- At least he didn't cheat and lie like Roy, that's the only reason he's not first. What a POS. I hate him, and not in a "sports hate" kind of way either.
3. Tom Crean- A sore winner, a sore loser, a jerk, a creep, turns his players out of his program as if they're trash, and as a coach fluctuates between mediocre and incompetent. I cannot believe Indiana hasn't fired him yet (hope they never do).

Kevin Stallings, his whining and his tantrums are so annoying.

Jim Boeheim. He ignored the warning signs about his friend Bernie Fine. Then he blasted the victims that had the courage to go public with the sexual abuse allegations against Fine. Bernie Fine should have never been allowed those young kids that volunteered to assist the Syracuse basketball program. I can't believe the media gave Boeheim a pass on the Fine scandle.

The UC assistant who filled in for Cronin last year as he showed no class at all.

You know it's bad when homers show up to make excuses. He was just a sore loser. We all know what he meant.

I will have to leave Eddie Sutton along, because he name Louisville "Little Brother".

Noland Richardson - For what he did to Tubby Smith.

Crean finishes first as the guy I'd most like to sucker punch.

Lack of respect as a coach or a person? Yes, I know the two often go hand in hand, but it can also be separated.

As a coach - the list is long; and the names I'd have chosen have already been listed. Just as a person, Pitino tops my list.

Wichita St coach. That tournament game when their player flailed out of bounds as if Andrew elbowed him. Well he didn't. It was a flop .. yet Marshall came running onto the court like the nerd he is lobbying for a technical.
Bad form all around on that one.
