With all the hand-wringing and consternation about rebounding, defense, and who should start, can we take a moment to appreciate what Reeves is doing? Dude doesn't force anything, almost every shot he takes is a "good" shot, even when he misses. He's driving more and making inside shots, getting fouled, and even has a couple of alley-oops. He's humble and smart, always moving without the ball, and doesn't get flustered when he's frequently the focus of the opponents' defensive stoppers.

You can talk about Reed, Dilly, etc., but AR is our MVP so far, and it's not close in my opinion. Fight me.

Cal said he got up 1400 shots yesterday. Tre is our vocal leader, DJ is our galvanizer, Antonio is our leader by example.

This team man…a special special group. Here I am ready to be hurt again…I said never again after 2015, but broke the promise in 17, 19, 20, and 22. Can’t blame the ‘20 team for Covid though, I was sick when the season got cancelled, no closure to that season was freakin rough.

I will say that I expect every single shot he takes to go in and we’ve only had a handful of guys that I felt that way about. Our MVP is a very tough debate because I feel we have 3-4 guys that could fit the bill. We definitely aren’t half the team we are today if Reeves decided to not come back for another year.

Love me some Antonio! Well done young man!

It’s nice to see the praise for him. After his Kansas game, it was just more fire for the Antonio haters crowd……(Even though we probably get beat by double digits without him). Then they ignore the good games against Miami and the big 2nd half shots vs UNC.

I love his little runners in the lane this year. I expect about every one of those to go in too.

He can fill it up.

Yup he’s a beast. Almost every game you can chalk him in for 20. That’s a nice luxury.

Man he can get his 3 pt shot off quick. I love that he's rebounding and doing other things this year. I think with his personality it is huge that he has other shooters around him and doesn't have to be "The Man". He's quietly doing it anyway.

While I love the way Reeves has been playing, not quite sure how you arrive at the conclusion that UK would have been beat by double digits against KU without Reeves. He was 3-17 from 3...that is awful.

Imagine if he only took 8 threes, that is 9 other shots that would have gone to other players. UK is in a better position to win if he limited his three point attempts.

I can’t argue with your logic. I went back and looked at the play-by-play and you are probably correct about KU game. He took about 7 or 8 too many shots.

I’ve heard he’s getting that walking on water thing down too.

I assume that Reeves almost decided to go somewhere else...He's good enough to start anywhere.

But you oughta think about the team being appreciated. This team is one of a kind and needs to stay hungry.

Yeah and it seems so nonchalant when he shoots!

What the wife and I were talking about Friday night, during the game. His shot release is so quick! One of the quickest releases in the country!
