Bama’s offense doesn’t look up to their standard so far. I don’t think Milroe is the guy. He’s athletic, but it’s an adventure every time he puts the ball in the air. I’m not sure there’s a standout playmaker in this receiving corps either, which isn’t helping him.
Wondering if Texas is good or not in the early season is almost an annual tradition at this point, but they look pretty impressive so far. Their d-line is physical and disruptive, and they have some skill players who can do damage in a high tempo offense. On that note, it’s time we stop considering a fast tempo a gimmick and start realizing it’s a legitimate weapon to keep defenses off balance.
