With the PF spot still unclaimed, wonder if this piques Pope's interest?
Pf/sfDoes he play PF spot? He’s like 6’6” right?
What about Oweh? Would you go get a replacement if he puts his name in the draft?I wouldn't be going after any guys who are thinking about the NBA draft. Wait all that time, and then they go in the draft, decide to transfer to another team that isn't UK,or just go back to where they came from. A 1-in-4 shot.

Who ACTUALLY believes there is a team that will draft Oweh in the 1st round OR give him a guaranteed 2nd round contract????What about Oweh? Would you go get a replacement if he puts his name in the draft?
Correct, he's 6'6". He's an okay rebounder for that size, but not great. Williams would be a welcomed addition, but we need to add some guys who can own the boards.Does he play PF spot? He’s like 6’6” right?
So they would go with Noah/Williams to assist at the 4?I bet we have a silent commitment by Alvaro as we speak. If so we are done with big guys.
Yes. Has to be the case. TOS reported a big, a shooter and a possible wildcard — that’s it. We are not adding more than 3 more and most likely only 2 more, a big and a shooterSo they would go with Noah/Williams to assist at the 4?
Me too , don’t care for the guy .. go get in shape fattyWould be a pass for me.
That's what I'm thinking as well. There is a possibility Williams gets to 220# next year which would make a big difference. That 190# could very well be what he checked in last July or when he got to campus. That would make sense if they planned on that when they took him.Yes. Has to be the case. It should, he’s definitely one to give a big deal too if he returns to college. Obviously we should nab Alvaro while he’s available but I’d save a spot for this dude.
He’s plays much bigger than his size. He is a banger inside, plays tough.Does he play PF spot? He’s like 6’6” right?
I agree, if we get Folgueiras, we are probably done at the 4/5.I bet we have a silent commitment by Alvaro as we speak. If so we are done with big guys.
Williams at the four might be OP. I like the thought of having a player like that at the 4I agree, if we get Folgueiras, we are probably done at the 4/5.
I feel like Pope wants to go a little smaller, more athletic, and will play Folgueiras and Garrison together with Moreno off the bench. Williams and Noah would also see some minutes at the 4.
The reason I am thinking this is possible is that we got Williams and are still after Yates or Pierre. We get one of those and there’s a logjam at the 2 and 3 spots. To give Williams some minutes, Pope almost has to play him some at the 4.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some double big looks with Garrison/Moreno on the court. Pope rolled with a Williams/Garrison frontcourt combo with more frequency as the season progressed.I agree, if we get Folgueiras, we are probably done at the 4/5.

Entirely possible.Pope reached out to that Bama guy and also supposed to get Alvaro so I don't believe he will add just one more. Seems to be going for 2.
Garrison is frustrating at times, but Pope started to trust him playing the 4 as a more defensive option than the backup Almonor.Exactly.
I got blasted last night for suggesting Garrison at the 4, but he can handle that spot. He did some this past season.
You must not understand how this whole selling and closing when it comes to recruiting and the transfer portal works. When you go after sought after players, you cast a wide net. This gives you many option. You might go after 10 power forwards on hopes to land one of them . Guess what ? So is every other major program . You’re only missing if you don’t land any of them . When you land a top 50 or even a top 100 transfer, that’s a good hit. “Missing” on others isn’t missing. You only have room for 1 anyways at a certain position.Another bidding war and expect another miss
What the heck is TOS ????????Yes. Has to be the case. TOS reported a big, a shooter and a possible wildcard — that’s it. We are not adding more than 3 more and most likely only 2 more, a big and a shooter

They didn’t even do this for Yaxel and he was the top rated transferGive this man 3-4 mil and ask no questions. He's a load!

6’11” European Stretch Four - nice! We linked to him?
No clue,, just seen his name floating around on twitterworld last couple days.. He put his name in the draft last year so wouldn't have to worry about that this year.. Probably is a big ol nothing though..6’11” European Stretch Four - nice! We linked to him?
Not sure Yaxel is that much better than Williams. Yaxel lost in the quarterfinals of the NIT and Williams averaged 21 and 8 in the tournament and came very close to leading his team to the final 4.They didn’t even do this for Yaxel and he was the top rated transfer
This is a dude you pay 2 million for not Mgbako. Not sure Yaxel is that much better than Williams. Yaxel lost in the quarterfinals of the NIT and Williams averaged 21 and 8 in the tournament and came very close to leading his team to the final 4.
