I saw this kid play a couple of times and was really impressed. He is a small forward (something we need).

He has not committed to anyone yet ... Anyone have any info on his recruitment? I know Cal knows more than me, but I figured a top 50 would get some phone calls. I don't think "being late to the party" is a thing for Cal considering he has recently jumped on Murray and Vick.

Anyone know his recruitment?

Most likely following Shaka Smart to Texas.

He was part of Shaka's class at VCU. The top schools at this moment in his recruitment are Texas, Kansas, and Georgia. He is out of official visits. He is taking an unofficial to Texas this weekend. His mother said he will announce his decision next week. Of all the recruits Shaka signed to VCU for the 2015 class, Mack was considered the most likely to follow him to Texas (much of that has to do with the recruits Texas already had committed.). I believe UGA was the runner-up the first time around.

Now if you want some behind the scenes chatter, there is talk of Mack being somewhat aloof and disrespectful when dealing with coaches. Apparently it turned off kevin Ollie enough to make him stop recruiting the kid.
