$#@! Tennessee

And that is just where we want them.

Little Kentucky . . . . hell, all UT has to do is roll their helmets onto the field and win by fiddy!

Don't be afraid!

Don't be VERY AFRAID!!
Classic trap game Hack. Lil ole UK sandwiched between Bama and the Dawgs.

I'm not picking a winner.

I'm not being mouthy on Tennessee forums.

I'm not going to bet a nickel on this or any UK game.

I'm not going to predict a final score.

I'm not a Lutheran.

All I'm saying is that fate, the Lord, Carma, chaos mathematics. linear mathematics, "the Football Gods" or whatever faith or foundation you believe in could not have been kinder to UK for creating an opportunity of this magnitude.

Why would you say no pressure on UK? I would say pressure on both teams.
Because Kentucky is SUPPOSED to lose to #3 TN in Knoxville, thats why there is no pressure on the Cats. They're not supposed to win this and go on to play Georgia for Atlanta and a trip to the CFP. Tennessee has the pressure of being BACK, and being a National title contender on them. They can't lose to lowly Kentucky, or their season and beating Bama goes up in smoke.

But UK had the higher preseason expectations and was expected by most in the media to challenge UGA for the East. With 2 SEC losses already, and UGA coming up later, this would seem to be a huge game for UK if it wants to have any chance of salvaging those expectations. Not to mention how a step backward might affect recruiting.

It’s 100 percent an opportunity. It’s also a chance for a missed opportunity. Which will it be? Who knows. Gotta show up with fire in their ass and let the chips fall where they may. Leave it all on the field, win or lose. If we do all that, I’m saying it’s a win. We have the pieces. Just put it together, it’s high time.

Totally agree with everything you said except one thing. As a realist and analyst it’s a bad matchup.
They play with such aggression, and it starts with the head coach. Please people try to forget the snide remarks about appearances, etc. just trying to talk to sane matter.
The best player on their team is going to be back for the Kentucky game. Cedric Tillman, Jaylin Hyatt will be his running mate along with many other talented, receivers, such as Bru McCoy , Southern Cal transfer. Their defense does not totally suck.
In three SEC games @ LSU, Florida and Bama, they punted a grand total of THREE time for Gods sake.
Maybe it’s a defense mechanism but I fear a bloodbath. Don’t shoot me just trying to use a little logic.

We beat Florida in the swamp by 10. UT beat Florida at home by 5. The loss to SC was largely due to Levis being out. UT was pumped for Alabama and I'm not sure they will be able to carry that passion through the entire season. I think this game is going to be closer than people think.
Tennessee only beat UF by 5 at home. But beat a team that beat UF by 10 in the swamp by 27. Transitive property doesn’t work.
