Am I reading that right?

Sounds like a poor rebounding and not overly physical team - I barely remember them - just that they lost a first round game against UAB I think

I believe they had a national televised big win at LSU that year?

I remember Hord being a big time athlete and I thought he would be an all time great here but he never really reached his potential. Also remember wondering why Hurt wasn't a rebounding machine as he was built like a brick outhouse. I was 11 years old that season. A lot of my memories are starting to run together. I see where Hord is 64 years old now. My goodness how time flies.
