Super Important to Stay a 3 Seed

Wisconsin already passed us up as well they were #11 last weekend
Missouri is red hot and is getting close to us and if they beat us as expected in the final regular season game I could see them passing us.

A lot of people have Texas Tech already passed up (I don't agree) but if we lose 2-3 more games and they only lose 1 more......
Well since you posted this, Wisconsin lost at home to an unranked team and Mizzou got whipped by Arkansas.

Lunardi still has us as a 3 seed.

Texas Tech just lost to unranked TCU, and has 2 games coming up against Houston and then KU in the fog, then finish the year @ASU. Tech will probably go 2-2 down the stretch.

Purdue dropped to a 4 seed according to Lunardi yesterday and then got smacked around by unranked Indiana today.

And we're going to beat Auburn on Saturday, I've been calling my shot the last few days.

Give me a 3 seed with Sparty as our 2 seed and let's f'ckin RIDE.

Like the energy and hope you are correct, but I see a 4 or 5 seed being our fate.

Nobody around us seems to be making any moves to unseat us currently, they ALL have worse losses than we have, NONE of them have wins as good as we do, AND I think we beat Auburn and go 3-1 down the stretch.

Let's see, all of this could be flipped on it's head with a loss to OU on Wednesday.

Losing at OU isn’t that damaging. It’s still a Quad 1 game.

Definitely want to win it. And it will help us a lot to get another Quad 1 win, but it’s not going to drop us significantly if we lose.

The one that I worry about is LSU. Losing at home to them would be a Quad 3 loss. That drops us significantly. We cannot lose that game.

It does help that several teams around us really slipped up. So that helps with the loss to Bama. But, this is another week where UK probably goes 1-1 again. We have the harder schedule along with the worse injuries.. so it's gonna be tough to continue holding off the teams around us.

For instance, Purdue is dead even with us in Bracket Matrix. Their final 3 games are UCLA, Rutgers, illini.. that's a pretty manageable schedule. I won't say they will win all 3 games, but it seems much more likely Purdue will finish this stretch better than UK. And while the SOS will help us, it won't matter much if we go 2-2 or even 1-3, if Purdue wins out. I would bet they move ahead of us.

Field of 68 bracket show about to start

They didn't say where on the 3 line but they had Kentucky as a 3 seed
