Stoops Should Try To Win…

I wont ever say a coach doesnt try to win. But as much as I really like Coach Stoops, I will say the one very disappointing thing is his desire to play the game “3 yards and cloud of dust.” Winning at a CHAMPIONSHIP level in college football you have to push the ball and open up the offense. Yes I know the backup QB is in, but that is the Ocoordinators job to find those plays the backup is comfortable with and can be successful. Heck even ultra conservative run run run coach Nick Saban figured that out. The defense can NOT stay on the field the majority of the game no matter how good they are. Very Disappointing!

Because he's a mediocre (at best) head coach.
He’s sickeningly overrated bc of our putrid history. He’s better than what we’ve had, previously. But, he will never win a championship of any sort, not even a division title, unless he completely changes his philosophy, overnight. I give him credit for building a legit SEC roster. He’s done an amazing job in that regard. But, he has no clue what to do with it.

You hit the nail on the head. People complain about Cal's coaching prowess? Sheesh.

What does he supposed to do? Call the super secret pass plays that only take a half a second, We can’t stop a pass rush and these other SEC coaches know this.
Well using the timeouts in the first half so we got the ball back for a shot to move it with a 1:30 left is a start. Stoops thought he could Eddie gran this game. Humiliation

In Stoop’s mind this isn’t a “bad” loss. Listen to the postgame vs a bad loss postgame.
