If he can keep a decent OC..he’ll be fine. Good solid coach, not an ass of a human being, he sets a good culture, recruits solid, etc

I enjoy Stoops and pitino years as much as any coaches ever at UK

He could keep a good OC which he's had before, if he'd just leave them alone and let them call all the offensive shots...and not interject with a 7 pt lead to take the air out of the ball middle of third qtr which just deflates your offense and takes them out of any momentum and rhythm.

They really want the kid from LCA as a QB in 2025, so they may still take a one and done again next year. Not sure they want an entrenched underclassman appear to be blocking the way of the superstar 4-star local QB?

You always take the best available that's willing to put in the work, and play the one that earns it. If that's the underclassman, then so be it.
