States that have yet to produce a UK player

Maybe I'm completely wrong and dint feel like looking it up. But wasn't pope born in Nebraska, Then moved to Washington?
Good catch. It looks like this list sometimes uses a player’s high school for their hometown. This leads to some issues like for example showing Morakinyo Williams as from Virginia, even though anyone who remembers him could tell you he was from England.

On the other hand Skal is listed as Haiti even though I recall he played high school basketball in Memphis

Morakinyo Williams is probably one that @JPScott would edit if notified for a correction. His profile from The Citadel shows his hometown as Solihull, England. He could join Amari Williams under the England tab.

Speaking of Morakinyo Williams, who knew that he was still playing professional ball overseas? He apparently played last season in the Indonesian IBL.

Seems like

Alabama & Indiana were relatively recently knocked off the list

Marvin Stone was the first Alabama player i knew fm there - i may be wrong

Kyle Macy , James Blackmon then Walter McCarty were the only ones from Indiana for a while right? Teague later -
Jim Master (Fort Wayne)
Roger Harden (Valparaiso)

You decide.

OK thanks. I went ahead and updated this to reflect his hometown in England.

As mentioned in this thread, assigning hometowns is somewhat subjective. When putting together my website I have to adopt some informal standards when considering players and what their hometown is. I don't list or even track where each player was born, instead I typically list where their family was living when the player was in high school or signed with UK.

What I list is not "official" obviously. Sometimes I go against what UK lists. For example Brad Calipari I listed Lexington Ky because that's where he graduated from high school and where his family was living at the time he came to UK. UK I think let the players self-report and Brad chose the town in New Jersey he was living when Cal was working for the Nets.

Anymore assigning hometowns sometimes becomes difficult for modern players as many of them might play in a prep school or move around to different high schools etc. For example Immanuel Quickely I list as Havre de Grace, MD because that's where he grew up and where he and his family was living at the time, even though the private high school he attended was located a few towns over. I do have the option to list both a hometown and a prep school so that helps somewhat.

In the case of Morakinyo Williams I don't remember if I made a conscious decision to list him as Alexandria Va instead of England or not. (Adding a Canadian Province or country is doable). But looking at Bishop Ireton I see that it's actually a prep school and not a high school so it makes more sense to report it that way and list his actual hometown in England.

If anyone has any more corrections, feel free to let me know. I can honestly say this is something I don't spend a whole lot of time on, so it's not surprising if there are some errors.
