Notre Dame now looking at Malachi Wood as well. It's obviously a VERY long way to go with kids in this class, but just putting it out there to gauge the type of recruit he could end up being. Camped and did well with Ohio State this summer.
Big day tomorrow for class of 2023 guys. Coaches can officially initiate contact with recruits in the class. Should begin to see who becomes the main targets, who gets invited for game visits, etc.
I get it. Still hope Kentucky gets him, but I'll be interested to see either how much he grows or how much faster he can get. Right now I'm not sure I see him being explosive enough for WR and he is way too small for TE. He may need to be a LB depending on what his body does.

I have been otherwise occupied this summer with travel, mostly concerning a large project for our office but also some leisure time in CA with my family. When your kids grow up and leave the nest, you need to invest time to stay close and plugged in with them.
Recently DB Ty Bryant committed to UK. Bryant is a Lexington native and a UK legacy (son of Cisco Bryant) from Frederick Douglas hs. To date, Bryant is our only 2023 commitment. Some other instate 2023 targets believed to hold UK offers-

The fact that the #2 player in the nation is visiting Kentucky is all I ever wanted as a UK Football fan. He's Oklahoma bound but at least we're trying.
According to TOS, the trip will be with Mom who played VBall at UK and they are planning to take in a game watching the defending National Champs! Hope it wins him over, we are due to start hitting on some of these guys.

I've always thought Lebbeus Overtons mom needed her vball jersey retired, weekend of the Chattanooga game is as good a time as any.
