First day for online sports betting in Kentucky, what's everyone going with as their first official bet?

Did a 50 dollar wager for Draftkings promo bet that a TD will be scored tonight on the TNF game.

Also did a 15 team money line parley on college football this weekend with the promo bonus bets
FanDuel is doing a similar promo where you win if a single point is scored so I dropped $50 on that as well

I am with DraftKings and MGM. Had Bodog/Bovada since 2003. Left .51 in there to just keep it open.

Bet $10 at 14-1 that Aberg would be the top scorer for the Euros at the Ryder Cup

Everything I've seen seems to suggest that it's money that can be withdrawn if you win
I believe any type of bonus money that is used and won you have to bet so many times over the original bonus bet to be able to cashout. Could be wrong but pretty sure you cannot bet the bonus and then cashout asap if you win.

DraftKings and FanDuel both seem to insinuate that the prize money is yours but not the stake if you win on a bonus bet. So if you use a $25 bonus bet, you'll get whatever the return is minus the original $25. At least that's how I'm reading it

Yes that is correct on the $25,..definitely not giving you that money back as well.

Did a 11-team parlay on the teams below. $25 pays $375. Besides the first three, I would think the others are locks.

Louisville, BYU, Kentucky, Penn State, Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, PHI Eagles, SF 49ers, DAL Cowboys

Are the parlays with the spreads or are they straight up?

I'm guaranteeing a European win in the Ryder Cup by 1/2 point. Instead of taking them at -108 to win outright, I can take the 1/2 point out and get +300 for them to win by 1 to 3.

FYI, are these internationally comingled pools? Just wondering if the Ryder Cup odds are based on all bets worldwide through Fan Duel or if it's just an American pool. They do it in horse racing where you are betting into the US only pool when they are racing in Europe.

What is the boost thing? On Fan Duel it let me bet $50 at even money that at least 1 point would be scored in the game tonight. Surely that's a 1 time thing.

Yeah they very occasionally run promotions like that where's it's essentially a $50 bonus to your account.

Similar tactics to the drug dealer that gives you a free sample just to get you hooked and coming back for more.

Yeah this is how bonus bets work at all sportsbooks.

Any idea where this mythical drug dealer might live? Asking for a friend….

Won 498 yesterday and my 11-team parlay above is still alive.

I still have 2 $25 bonus bets with DK and 3 with MGM, I bet $50 to double my money today that a point will be scored in the Cincy/Titans game,

Have a few parlays as well today. MGM has the Eagles at -8.5 while DK was -9.5.

I just hit my first decent payout!

Parlay of
Bills moneyline
Josh Allen 1+ Rush TD
Gabe Davis over 43.5 rec yards
Stefon Diggs over 83.5 rec yards

+1300 10% profit booster

$25 stake won $382.50

Also hit a +100 $25 max bet on Diggs and Hill 50+ rec yards.

Made a wild 9 pick moneyline parlay with one of the $25 bonus bets. If the Bengals had shown up and won, the Bears had eeked out that win against the Broncos, the Raiders had won tonight, and the Chiefs beat the Jets, I would've won over $5,000. I know that's quite a bit of would've could've, but it was still fun to track what might've been. Anyway, if KC covers tonight I'll win $131 to close out the night.

Won about $1200 give or take this weekend between both sites I'm using, Sam Hartman came three passing yards short from getting me $700 more and PSG just refused to score a single goal to get me a $2000 parlay payout.

Thought I had an easy parlay with kc money line / mahomes 200 yds pass / 1 td - sweated it out until the end when he finally hit the 203 pass yds total.

Maybe I’m more invested but I find a lot more easy winners in cfb than nfl - I thought usc/colorado over 72.5 was easy bet and it hit before the 4th quarter.

I think CFB is a lot easier to get a read on too. Even the bad teams in the NFL are loaded with really good players, and seemingly every team will have a game where they play way over their heads and take down a contender.

NFL is just tough to get a read on. Even for individual players. Especially on scoring. I had Kelce in a TD parley for one of my bonus bets and I only got one leg out of four. The other four were people who normally score a TD pretty regularly. Not so on Sunday. I usually don' t like doing O/U on yards in the NFL because that's so iffy. All it takes is for one team's defense to, as you said, play over their heads and whelp, the QB who normally gets 200 yds only gets 130 that day. And you just never know when that's going to happen.

I thought about taking that one, but with the putrid offense CO had as Oregon I backed off of it.

Yeah I missed on a Mahomes 2+ TD, 270 + yards, Kielce 50+ yards, and KC had 17 points in the first quarter and did nothing after that, talk about a let down after a hype start.

I did the free $ signups at FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Bet365. Any others out there giving away good bet $$ without betting any of your own money or very little?

I saw one for something called Dimers. It was something like $700 in bonus bets. Upon further investigation, it looks like Dimers is a website that groups all sportsbooks together so you can easily get to all of them.

There’s a couple fb ads but I don’t recognize the names of the sportsbooks
