Butler 100% needs to develop a floater because he cannot finish at the rim. He develops a floater and then maybe help will come freeing up a dish to an open 3 point shot.
You don’t get to redshirt in basketball when you’ve already played, this isn’t football. He’s already used his covid year. He is done playing ballKerr will likely red shirt ... and should. This teams going nowhere special.
I get what you’re saying but yall have to stop with this obsession with Noah and Perry. We’ve won big games with butler and Williams. They played bad today. Perry did absolutely nothing when he was out there, Noah played well and should get more minutes (and will since Carr might be out for the year) but you don’t just bench your starters to play Kentucky kids to make a point.Butler or Williams should not have been on the floor at the end of the game. That is on Pope. Noah & Perry will play hard. I can live with a loss if the team plays with effort. 4 of our guys on the freethrow lane. 1 Vandy player. Yet he gets the rebound. That's effort.
Playing any different combination of players isn’t going to help. This team is what it is. So many people on here just don't get that. And that's not Popes fault. He did very well with the situation he was handed.I get what you’re saying but yall have to stop with this obsession with Noah and Perry. We’ve won big games with butler and Williams. I do agree that the effort was unacceptable for a lot of the game today, but playing Perry more isn’t gonna win us any more games this year.
Different combinations of players might help, I disagree with that. But the undersized 18 year old from Lyon county isn’t the answer lol. Nor is the 21 year old freshman that didn’t play basketball for 2 years (and it shows)Playing any different combination of players isn’t going to help. This team is what it is. Playing Noah more isn’t going to change the overall makeup of this team. It just isn’t. But I do believe Noah should get more playing time.Different combinations of players might help, I disagree with that. But the undersized 18 year old from Lyon county isn’t the answer lol. I think Noah can contribute some for sure though. He’s a big guy and doesn’t appear to be afraid to rebound, which is more than you can say for some of these guys.
