We play our fifth game tonight against a team that is likely drastically overmatched. Thinking about my own athletic experience as a good but not great middle distance runner and wondering about the players we've seen in the previous games. I'm confident that they love the sport, train their bodies exhaustively, and drill their individual and team skills daily and yet our team prevailed. So here is my question:
What do the players get from the experience of playing in a losing effort against UK?
Second question: Were their any opposing players you came away from the game with an unexpected appreciation for them?
Just wanting to challenge my own appreciation of this game, College Basketball.
