Outside of 3 point shooting (thank God), did the Cats really do anything well tonight? FT's were OKish I guess, but pretty bad at crunch time.

They didn't quit or panic.
The other list would be a lot longer tonight.

I know what they didn't do well. The bigs were a non-factor for most of the game. Got neutralized by having bodies on them in the paint.

This.

For a team "that didn't do anything well outside of three point shooting", I'd give Kentucky a lot of credit tonight for showing some real resolve.

Shot 3's well
Andrew & Aaron had a great game
Willie stepped up in OT
Booker played great defense with 4 fouls
We found a way to win

Offensively they weren't too bad.

Defensively I'm not exactly sure what the heck happened. Maybe they focused too much on offense in Camp Cal lol

3 pt shooting
Clutch play by the twins and Booker
Fight and hustle (especially in the 2nd half)
Overcame OT deficit

We missed a lot of bunnies, but looking at the stats, we did okay offensively. The problem was they shot and made a shit load of freethrows and threes. We'd play this team again and beat them by 20. They just had the game of their lives.

FT were good just not good down the stretch when we need them. 70% isn't that bad. Just one of those games where we were almost upset by a perfect storm. Like you said if the 3s don't fall I would be sick right now.

Biggest was they handled the pressure of the game very well.

Never let it slip away, made key D stops and did what they needed to do.

If you need to have it spelled out for you, you just need to keep watching and get a few more years under your belt, is all I have to say to you.

They won a game where the other team played above their ability. From Ole Miss hitting tough shots, to not getting a favorable whistle at home, and to still pull out a win is a positive. Inside game missed some easy shots. I think the play that kind of sums up what kind of night it was for UK was when Ole Miss shot a long three and didn't have a guy anywhere near the ball to rebound a miss and the ball sticks on the rim. It goes from a defensive stop to a jump ball with Ole Miss getting the possession and scoring to tie the game.

I understand we missed a lot at the end, but in what world is 70% as a team not good? People should be celebrating if we do that for the rest of the year.
