Donovan flew to Lexington early this morning on a private Jet, Hurley was offerred 11M and at about the same time Drew was offerred much less. 🤣
So to recap today so far

No one really knows what’s going on timeline wise. All the listed things could have been true but happened at various times. It’s very possible Mitch was talking to Hurleys people behind the scenes past day or so and eventually offered the $11m only to be ultimately turned down. Maybe a similar deal with Donovan. Then they shifted to Drew as the main Focus. A coaching search on this level means negotiating with multiple targets to various levels at the same time. Timing is crucial here.
I’ve never been a big proponent of MB, but he’s getting crucified here unfairly IMO. People screaming to offer Hurley or he should be fired. Then it comes from a legit local source they offered Hurley a boatload and all of the sudden it’s a false flag operation just bc Mitch wants Drew. Pretty absurd take. I’m gonna at least sit back and see how this plays out before I lose my mind.
If we offered Hurley and Donovan first, I have zero issue with Drew as third choice.
