SKJ next season

his per 40 minutes stats are 16.7 ppg and 12.9 rebounds!!!!!!
His more realistic per 30 was a double double too. Offensively this kid can play and I think he is way better than many give him credit for he has a pretty deadly 15 to 18 ft shot. He has the speed and athletic skills to play defense. My guess is when it came down to over all production meaning points scored vs points given up. That hump just showed more in practice. After watching the blue white game again I am not to worried about hump leaving. SKJ has lottery potential if he plays d. But if he had of shown that do we even have a shot at Bamba? Who knows. I just think we would have heard way more by now if he was leaving

For all that UK lost we still hopefully are getting back two top 20 recruits in Wenyan and SKJ. Most thought at the beginning of last year the Cats would lose at least one of those two.

its all about defense for SKJ. Get that right, you'll get minutes.
Exactly. SKJ has skills, and can score in and around the paint. But on the defensive end, he just has no clue how to move his feet, so he is a foul machine. SKJ has the athleticism to become a decent defender, but he will have to get stronger and work hard on fundamentals. There was a point in December when Calipari and Payne just didn't have anymore time to wet-nurse their 4th string center. But SKJ may actually be needed next year, especially if Bamba doesn't come.
