Well, Reed came up short on the single season steals record. Thanks Cal. Maybe, if we could win a game in the SEC tournament or NCAA tournament, Reed could have gotten the record with a couple extra games.
It reminds me of when Oscar had a chance at David Robinson’s single season record for double-doubles in 2022. We lose to Tennessee in the SEC and St. Peter’s in the NCAA. Now that record would have required 4 more games and was a little more out of reach but not impossible.
Cal did help Sheppard get one record though. That record is the most steals in a single season at Kentucky by a bench player. So I guess we should thank Cal for that.
