Should UK fans be worried?

Maybe now we know why Cal plays up the success of our guys on draft night and in the NBA so much. To combat the other schools that are offering money now.

Great minds must think alike. I am saving my worry for real things. I have family and a couple of friends that are dying from cancer. Why would I worry about college basketball corruption? I pared my basketball back last season to only UK games. IF UK was to be involved, then I want them punished as hard as any other guilty party. I would like for the FBI to look into the officiating of college basketball. I am not blind, nor am I stupid enough to deny what I see going on with officiating. (Higgins)

While I'm certain UNC has enough to worry about - given the quality of their recruiting as of late, I'd think they are in the clear from being in the frontline of payoffs. At least this is the FBI doing the work so the NCAA still has all its resources to slam UNC.

I believe the following to be true. If it is not, I will be very surprised.

If you read between the lines, achieving NBA dreams the right way could be what Calipari really means when he says "Kentucky isn't for everyone." Of course he knows exactly what is going on in his profession. But he doesn't have to play that game to succeed, especially at UK. He tells the kids straight up that we do it the right way here and if you buy in, do the work, you will achieve your dreams and never have to look over your shoulder. You know Cal is aware of what recruits want money and he has the rare option to just walk away from them.
