Should Oscar's Jersey be hanging in the rafters?

No hurry. That's something better judged in several years when there is more perspective on the era in which he played for Kentucky and his place in the program's legacy. The answer is likely to be yes.
This.

He has to be elected to UK Athletics HOF
There is a 10 year wait then the committee on Jersey retirement will decide
It took 50 years to get Jim Andrews into HOF and his stats are much greater than Oscar

Yes anyone saying no is just being a hater.

Sure his talent didn't get us to a Final 4 but I'd hate to see the last two years without him.
I would agree with you but i dont. Same denominator last 3 years was Cal and him. Ok 2 and half years. Mind job, face it, he was a bad teammate. You everbeen around someone thats been on fire jesus and telling you need to get saved. Its awkward. I know, my dad is a self made minister, farmer first, he just retired after 16 years, 2 different churches every Sunday. So i disagee and say NO

I say yes what do you think?
Great post by the way, u go by Dave or do i call you Kersey, close to Kelcies ocean on Andy Griffith, most people in Ky think thats really an ocean. ERNEST t Bass, you know he directed the show a couple times?
Everyone reads everyword you say. I am one. Keep up the great work!!!

I lean to yes because of the NPOY, but the lack of postseason success stands out a bit. That and just how unfun last year was, and his awful defense… I’ll still say yes but honestly we’d all have better opinions of each other if he left after the first year.

Championships only matter in the calipari era.

Losing for 3 to 4 years is adored by our fans but if a player doesn't win a title in one or two seasons in Oscar's case, they are a failure.

Sarcasm off.
Ummm. Oscar didn’t merely “not win a title.” The dude led UK to a 1-2 record and the program’s most embarrassing tourney loss in school history.

I say yes. You can’t knock OT for lack of postseason success. He dominated both games in which his team was eliminated. Some band from England once famously penned a song about how they got by with a little help from their friends—Oscar’s pals posted an epic fail in this regard the past two Marches.
