He’s always been low key in interviews anyway. But yeah. He’s out of it.
Can’t blame him for taking advantage of what the refs call. If they want it to stop they need to allow actual defense again and punish flopping hard.
Shai’s not as much of a flopper like a LeBron. He more waits for any hand contact, which is pretty often with his herky-jerky midrange game, and then forces shots through the (weak) contact, embellishing a bit as well to make sure he gets more calls than not. He uses the rules more than a traditional flopper, but I’d still like to see the NBA do something to change things to discourage any form of flopping.
Most of the people who decry SGA as a foul baiter are the same ones who ignore Jokic’s constant flopping.
