I may be wrong, but I thought our only chance for Tampa involved a UF loss (most likely today). Assuming both teams win next week.

You could for sure be right. I was just thinking with hotels, etc. They wouldn’t have problems selling tickets with UF, that’s for sure. Unless they’re super disappointed in their 267 members of the staff.

Unless the bowl game is a playoff game, I can't tell them apart. I know there are maybe about 5-6 bowl games (Fiesta, Cotton, Rose etc) that are in the rotation for the playoff (unless I'm mistaken). I guess it would mean something to win one of those on their off year. But these other ones? Nah.

So if you are not playing in one of the big ones, why does it matter which bowl game you play in so long as you get to play in one? Within a few days no one is going to remember who won the 2022 south bumble f#@k bowl anyway. I remember UK winning the Citrus Bowl, that was big. All these outback and music city bowls can kick rocks.
