That would be the best case scenario, the only I have seen mentioned is Memphis, but I would take the music city bowl all day
Our opponent matters more to me than wherever the destination is
Before the loss to Vandy the Outback was in play. If they lose to Louisville I really don’t know what to think.
Kentucky will fight mightily against the Music City as it’s the exact same time as the UK-UL basketball game.
I heard Minnesota in Vegas, maybe Wisconsin.
Another BIG 10 match-up.
Hell, that never stopped us before.
We took an estimated 27K to Nashville for a kickoff 2 hours after the end of the U of L game in 2017.
Not this year. gasparilla (Tampa), Memphis (Liberty), Texas (Houston), Las Vegas, and maybe Gator (Jacksonville) if we pound U of L.
It’s going to be about TV to Kentucky. That aren’t going to want their bowl game on at the exact same time as their basketball game against their biggest rival.
The overtime 2 pt conversion rule might be the saving factor for that game

Gator bowl is the best case, don’t think Kentucky will get that, music city is probably out of the question as well, liberty bowl or the Texas bowl is probably the leader right now

If they lose to FSU to finish 6-6, and we beat U of L, the argument is clear.
Still so many variables it’s hard to say. What other SEC teams do and how many make the playoffs affect the process .
I'm afraid to ask what a Transperfect bowl might be ? Drag Queens at half time ?
Who was the last Pac 12 team we played?
I remember playing Kansas State in the early 80s is last Big 12 team I think (referencing my post above about going to Houston)

7 bowls., we could throw a bone to Kentucky transplants for one game AND play an exotic opponent.

1976 against Oregon State. That is the only PAC 12 team we have played in our entire history. I would love to play a PAC 12 school in a bowl.
