**Very funny. He was actually "coming on" before the whole had to be suspended thing occurred. Who knows where he would've ended up had he been able to play.
**Doesn't have to be ONLY Cal though. Was A. Gordon not a pro before going to Arizona? J. Okafor a pro before going to Duke? D'Angelo Russell a pro before going to Ohio State?

I don't get the hatred for Bill Self. I think he's a good guy and comes off as a respectful person to me. He didn't say anything that wasn't true but he also wasn't taking a shot at Cal.

Are you sure about that? This Zagsblog article tracks Alexander's falling draft stock. He started off preseason as the #2 draft pick, then slipped to #10 by November, then to #17 by February.

To be honest, what Self said was basically incoherent. It was about as clear as the Mississippi River during flood stage. But, I honestly can't see it directed at Cal.
With as many guys Self has had projected to go high in the draft before the season started that ended up going way lower to not even drafted, he isthe last person thats needs to be taking shots at any other coach when it comes to getting guys drafted. I'm pretty sure guys like Selby and Alexander would love the cash they once thought they would be making before Self decided to screw up their future. Oh well. Self can say whatever he wants, but at the end of the day, these young recruits are going to know better and decide they would rather not risk so much potential money and come to Kentucky. Self is a good coach, but when it comes to getting kids drafted as high as possible, Cal is the last guy he would want to get into it with talking about the NBA.
Self is a good guy,I do like him, but he's envious of UK and Cal..Like the "We just ran out of time" ..We spanked that ass all game..Cal made a mistake and milking the clock too early..He also did it in the SEC Tourney and almost lost...Did it this yeas in the F4 and cost us the game imo..Up 4 with 4min to go and starts the stall ball that's too much time on the clock..Every coach out there want to be Cal and UK...We are the needle
