Do we have a list of fans on this message board who are calling for Pope to be replaced? If not, what's with the passive aggressive act? If they're not on this board, then this a strawman. If they are on this board, list their names.
Stupid people are always the loudest. The question is why would anyone listen to stupid people ... LOL? We all just need to move beyond that noise.
Went on social media for a minute. All the orange slime that have been hiding under rocks from us all season of course are beating their chest and talking crap about us.

People who are saying that are idiots. Know losing to TN sucks but come on? The Upper Echelon of this Conference played out as expected and he was without Jaxson Robinson for the Postseason and went to the Sweet 16.
If a TN fan says anything to you just say VCU has more FFs than you.
Most of them aren’t real fans of the Univeristy. They were fans of the attention and NBA clout. They’ve been waiting for a chance to gloat. Would have been 10x worse if Arkansas advanced….we would have beat TTU.
This new generation of fans for whatever reason is mesmerized by the NBA and truly bought the Cal nonsense that having all these NBA guys somehow elevates your college program (only tru if they are bringing in recruits that results in college wins/titles). Being the social media “it” program and trending e highlights is more important to them than winning cbb games. Weird ppl

Been to many other thread this morning and it makes me sick to see our so called “fans” are trashing our players and coaching staff. Does a recruit want to come and play at a school that has a “fan base” so critical of a bunch of of guys who gave their all for UK?
Going forward, more SEC teams are going to be more and more competitive because of the NIL money in the SEC. Up until last few years, most SEC schools were strickly football schools and really used basketball as a filler until the next football season. Now all the SEC schools, especially Bama, Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee are putting an emphasis on basketball. Just look at the SEC this year. I do not see anything changing except more than the four schools being elite going forward. It may become more difficult to dominate the SEC than winning a National Championship. There is no shame for our hasty assembled team losing to Tennessee, they were an elite team this year. If our fans are not proud of the coach and players this year then they are not knowledgeable Kentucky fans. To reach the sweet 16 with this squad is beyond anything we could have hoped for. Our lack of quickness and athletic ability finally caught up with us. Can't wait to see where Coach Pope can get us to in the 2026 - 2027 season. We need to give Pope that amount of time to get the players he wants and needs for his system.
Predictable, but not unexpected.
I'm satisfied with the season. In my 50 years following UK, this is one of my all time fav teams.
