SEC tourney seeding

MSU winning Saturday is what helps us most from a seeding standpoint. Won't drop below 8 in that scenario. Them being included in any tiebreakers helps us

Cal and Arky beating Vandy just LOCKED us in as at least the 8 seed. Which means we avoid a Wednesday game. Now, beat Mizzou and we could get as high as a 5/6.
That Missouri game is now MASSIVELY important for both SEC and NCAA tournament seeds. Win that game and we probably avoid Auburn for a least another game and we probably lock in a 3 seed in the NCAA.

According to that, if we lose to MIZZ and OM loses, we are still the 8
Vandy has to win to make it a 3 way tie.

This is so crazy!!!

Hope we beat Mizzou and then it won’t matter, but this season for us has been a whirlwind from the get go so nothing would surprise me!!

Im telling ya, just go ahead and beat a great team once, and then it should be gravy.

This is what Im hoping in the sec tourney for UK.

Teams can't play out of their minds every game?

I think if UK wins the first game they will be locked into a 4 seed in the NCAAT. No matter who the second or third opponent is in the SECT it’s going to be a quality NCAAT team. It’s won’t cause a big hit to UK.

Just saw where Ole Miss could knock us down to a 9 if we lose to Mizzou and they lose too. That’s the ONLY way we play on Wednesday.
Yeah it’s weird we actually want both of the Mississippi schools to win. Even if Ole Miss loses and we’re tied with them, as long as MSU is included in the tiebreaker we won’t be the 9. MSU beating Arkansas is probably the one result that helps us the most

We already probably have locked up for 4 seed regardless of the result of the remaining games

Some other things too. MSU has to lose and Vandy has to win. It's a combo of 5 games breaking wrong.
Is this right (I’m starting to confuse myself): If (1) Ark. beats MSU; (2) Vandy beats Georgia; and (3) UK loses to Mizz., then UK is a 9 seed? And all three of those things must happen before UK can fall to a 9-seed, right?

I’m not worried. 8 or 9 seed is fine. I’m trying to be positive either way.

9 seed gives us a shot at another Q2 win and maybe a big margin against SCAR that could help our metrics.

Not a bad take at all. UK's path would remain the same, except require one more win.

Another thing, teams sometimes play better after getting a “warm-up” game. The extra game can be an advantage in the first few games. It’s not usually until the semis or finals that teams run out of gas and the extra games hurt them.

It used to be. $15 to get in. But they used to only have 2 games.

With 4 games on Wednesday and 2 sessions I’m guessing that’s changed.
Matt on KSR said its still GA last week I think. Says people that buy books will have seat #s for Wed but that won't matter because it's all still GA. Idk maybe he was wrong haha.
