We will be lucky to make the tournament with the schedule we have coming up. We will be favored in 2 maybe 3 of our up coming 9 games, assuming we lose tonight we are likely looking at finishing 4-6 ish and a 19-12 finish. Likely a bubble team.

Some of you are still stuck on that team you saw when we were 100% healthy, that team is gone.

With our wins not even close good lord

There are numerous threads where people are talking about how we are locks and there’s no way that we’re going to have a losing record the rest of the way blah blah blah. Maybe this will wake them up.

You generally don’t make the tournament if you lose 10 of your last 14 games. And we’ll lose in the SEC tournament, probably early.

I assure you if we only win two or three more games we’re on the wrong side of the bubble. But you keep telling yourself that a few wins will save us.

And does it really matter if we do make it? We’re going to have a really bad seat at this point in Mark Pope is going to continue his streak of not having any tournament wins.

19-12 with our wins is a tourney lock, but I’m not confident at all they can get 4 wins from this schedule

Same ol' tired suspects jumping on this thread like red ants on a spilt' snowcone. I will not look at this forum a single time until one our 2 point guards come back. Waste of time reading the same ol' garbage from the same ol' idiots.
How can you possible have any sunshine pump bullshit with the product on the floor tonight. Lamont butler isn’t fricking Jesus Christ, he is a good player but he is a bandaid on a broken dam with this pathetic ass defense

We are in with 18 IMO.

But it’s all for nothing bc we aren’t winning anything in the tourney anyway. Losing Kerr & Butler set us back. Seems to have come off the rails after the Arky loss.

I’m not completely giving up on the season. I sure as hell don’t expect much either. Will not bash Pope too much, I do think he will be fine next year and beyond. He will adapt his style of play to make sure there is more emphasis on defensive pressure. At least I hope he will.

I held on to Cal’s rope and got bashed many times so I stopped posting (and I still think losing Cal ended up being a good thing for us).

On the same hand, you gotta realize Pope put a team together in a blink of an eye and lost BOTH point guards he planned on playing.

On the other hand though, if next year looks similar, start over. I’ll be way less forgiving with next years roster because he has a whole year to construct it. But we have to get a two year window before we start talking about Popes job.

you may be right on the win loss total but with our Q1 wins we could lose every game and still make the tourney. Especially since no losses in the SEC are bad resume losses except for Ark. We would be an 11 seed or higher but would make it.

If you stop looking at this forum it would be like winning the Super Bowl. You’re top 5 of bad posters on this board.

Ending with 18 would mean we went 4-10 to end the season. I’m not sure that gets UK in. I’m not even sure 19 gets them in

Lol, I’ve been supportive of Pope all year. I cheer when it’s due. And I criticize when it’s due. You just can’t handle it, never have been able to, @Baller Cal.

We don’t have a freaking point guard dude. Not one. Not a starter, not a backup. It’s kind of important in basketball.

The fact we beat Tennessee is a miracle.
Agree with everything you stated, Wonky. But I think he has a point about the effort.

He bs is the worst on this board, he always calls me and JF pathetic and cowards, but isn’t around to take the heat when his POV is being proven wrong. JF and I are here and both admit when we’re wrong

The resume is strong enough to make the NCAA’s even with a losing SEC record. The league is that strong this year. Plus, this team actually has multiple key non-conference wins unlike Cal’s last few years.

Do I think we’ll do anything in the NCAA’s? Absolutely not. But it would take one of the biggest collapses ever to miss the tournament completely.

19 wins and they are in, idk how many times people have to see this, they have the best win in cbk

Lol.. Not sure what some y'all expected being both our only 2 pgs are out.. But yall keep on keeping on.. Glad I'm not torn up like a bunch y'all are 😂
Truth right here. 0 point guards on a team put together in 4 weeks in the Toughest conference ever. I agree it’s tough watching the Cats lose but some of you act like you’re devastated and surprised.

I went into the year with basically zero expectations and it's been rather good for my nerves,, lol.. And that was with a full team.. Haven't been torn up with any game this year.. Just sitting back laughing at a shit load on here that need a shrink haha..
