Hope that Stevenson returns to Tuscaloosa as well. That would fill up the 13 scholarships just in case that Will Riley reclassifies. View Arizona as the biggest threat and Ocho Cal still says he doesn't mind idea of being a 9 man team-so they have to be respected as well should Riley do as expected and reclassify-but UK having the first OV doesn't hurt at all.
Alabama gonna roll through the sec next season probably. Oats may get another final four as well and with a little luck maybe a title.
Sears is a BALLER I respect his game a lot. The SEC will be a tough conference with tons of talent.
What player could we have gotten that would have put us over Proven Alabama in the doubters minds here? No one we could have gotten has proven themselves as Sears has. How dare Pope not have recruited all Americans already. Doesn’t he know he should break ncaa rules and US laws and kidnap all Americans for us

Where were either of these guys projecting in the draft? Are they further proof you need great COLLEGE players over a roster full of NBA prospects playing for draft status rather than for the team?
I think all things considered, It was going to be a stretch for us to be considered anything close to favorites for the SEC title next year. We wouldn't have been that with the Roster Cal had coming in either. Bama was going to be right where they are. Next year we just have to prove that Popes system will be competitive and work in the SEC and that we finish above Arkansas and/or beat them head to head. Hope for the double bye in the SEC tourney, and a decent seed in the NCAA.
Alabama, Auburn, A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida all have better rosters at this point.
Alabama on paper has everything: star keyreturning players, great transfers , great incoming freshman , and a coach , a former math teacher that has a very good understanding of modern basketball. They will be in a mission to win it all !
They should be the number one team in the country ahead of Kansas and Duke.
