I don't think it was anything malicious on RL's part, or his son's. If anything, it was the Lowe and/or UM camp trying to drum up some "excitement" about the announcement.

All anyone with sources does is share what they have been told. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes they are wrong. The national guys get it wrong too. Ryan is right a lot more than he is wrong. He has some pretty strong sources for football info that aren't part of the coaching staff.

UK didn't really recruit Lowe that hard as he doesn't have the length that Stoops likes to have at CB with him being 5'11. He might end up being a good player but we know Stoops likes the longer athletes at CB. Good luck to Jeremiah.
