Difference between basketball and football is that all these game times are scheduled before the season starts and based on projections of how good the teams will be. We weren’t projected to be as competitive as we’ve been and really never were a lot of SEC teams. Hence we didn’t get some favorable time slots. 11:00am start for the Florida game is a prime example of that.

Good news bad news when Kentucky plays this early. If they win it sure is nice to just sit back and enjoy the rest of the games that day.

I seen the last play Houston got a layup with 1 second left to beat UCF by 1 that sucked. They inbounded with 3 seconds left and the guy went between 2 defenders for the layup.

Georgia had a chance to tie this game twice and failed. Was down 3 with 8 seconds and stole the ball with 5 seconds left and had a good look at a corner 3 that missed but a foul on the rebound with 0.6 left.
Georgia hit the 1st missed the 2nd and ball went out of bounds to Georgia with 0.3 left
They threw a lob under the basket and from about 4 feet the guy just couldn't put it in he had got it off in time too.
Georgia went 9/20 from the line lost 70-68

I don't see that happening to be honest. At the very least, playing in a weak conference will help bolster their W total. I think we will be continuing to celebrate the Hubert gift for another year.
