That's my biggest pet peeve in college basketball. Looks like a sniper hit them with a headshot. Jumping into the defender and snap your head like that gets you to the free throw line every damn time.I always wonder how the Duke guards all learn how to throw that head back as the drive like they got hit in the chops without turning it over. They all do it all the time even when no one is close to hitting them in the face. That's just like a flop. Should be a technical.
It's one of the marvels of the Universe.I always wonder how the Duke guards all learn how to throw that head back as the drive like they got hit in the chops without turning it over. Yes. I totally agree. I don't like listening to him but Dykes said last week UK made a habit pass which led to a wide open layup. Schefflein did that and it cost them.Clemson absolutely got screwed, but #4, Ian Schefflein, had 2 turnovers and an and 1 in the final 1:30 of the game and really hurt his team.
He pushed off before contact was madeIt was obviously a foul. And I hate Duke. But, no question.
At the end you just don't blow a whistle unless it's ridiculous. You let them play and you don't let the refs decide the game. Secondly Proctor initiated contact and was clearing out with his arm. That is a no call at best. Two plays in a row in last minute of the game with Clemson player making surer to stand straight up with arms straight up. Refs gave Duke fouls both times. Decided the game
Same guy that called the foul at the end wasn't it?
Apparently there is some bad history with that ref. Doesn't like Clemson for some reason. A player from Clemson had to be restrained from running after him at the end...bad look refs, bad look.Watch the Clemson coaches post game interview. He calls out the refs without calling them out. It was brilliant on his part.
K gave the refs a lifetime contract.Shire has figured out how to buy the refs.
The year VA. won Championship the same thing happened to Auburn on last play and no call was made. I was at game and I felt they should have called a foul. The last second one was technically* a foul, but refs let that go in 95% of games. They called it because it was Duke at home. If that’s us on the road, zero chance we get the whistle
They get road cooking. Neutral cooking.Duke and Kansas are the two teams that get a lot of home cooking by the refs and any one with common sense can see this.
