Wonder if this will trigger the roster overhaul that is expected from WVU (Tre Mitchell).
I mean…have you been to WV?West Virginia loves drunk drivers.

It could happen but Jeff Nadu is about as unserious a source as possible, he is dork form barstoolWonder if this will trigger the roster overhaul that is expected from WVU (Tre Mitchell).
Why?He has done nothing. Also if they get Kennedy I would expect those players stay

The ones who are expecting to start may not see a lot of other places they can go and expect major minutes. I don't really know that, just something that may factor in.Why is that?
His biggest career accomplishment is winning the SEC Tournament in 2013.
That isn't meant to be funny, it's objectively a fact.
He has won 2 NCAA tournament games in his whole career.
Why would those guys stay to play for him?
He is a experienced coach though and he did do decent at UABWhy?He has done nothing.
He is a experienced one though, and he can be a uniting factor for that groupWhy is that?

I’m going off what one there fans is saying, Kennedy is a good not great coach, for the situation they are in he would be a good hire. Mitchell would have to get a waiver but they would probably give it to him given the circumstanceI think them promoting an assistant coach was the situation I was worried about, I think that would have united them.
A brand new guy who none of them know and has accomplished nothing in his career doesn't worry me. If I'm Tre Mitchell or Jesse Edwards, I'm not hearing about this hire and getting fired up for the season.
Side note- would Tre Mitchell be eligible? Did he graduate?
They will be stuck as a 17-15 type team then for the next 4 years.Wonder if this will trigger the roster overhaul that is expected from WVU (Tre Mitchell).
Would be a great job for Ben, and a great get for WVU. Someone is going to give him a chance, and when they do they're going to be rewarded for it.Ben McCollum.
Ben is really a winner. Head coach Norhwest Missouri State a division 2 squad but what accomplishments. 81% win percentage. Four times national championships. 11 time league champion. Division 2 coach of the year five times. Just 42 years old. Wouldn't mind seeing him at Kentucky one day.Would be a great job for Ben, and a great get for WVU. LOL thats one more tournament win than weve had in the last 5 years. Why is that?

The comment was he only has 2 NCAA tournament wins. I was referring to NCAA tournament wins, not SEC or for God's sake an NIT win, oh wait we lost there too!!In the last 5 years we have 4 tournament wins (still not good).
In the last 5 tournaments, we made 4 of them and 1 NIT, and we have 7 wins.
But I fail to see what any of that has to do with the head coach that West Virginia.
Don't forget Forbes and the greatest of intrigue- John Beilein. He could take the job for a couple seasons while WVU makes a long term plan.Kennedy's name has surfaced as probably the most likely but there are others out there. Tom Crean is one. Lesser knowns but on the rise include Jarred Calhoun, Pat Kelsey, Ben McCollum.
