if USCjr somehow takes out Georgia and we win then we have a chance to have sole possession of 1st in the East and extend our lead next week against Mizzo. Go Cocks!
I agree. Greyson Lambert so far has not impressed me all that much. The one thing you have to do to have a chance against the Dogs is to try and make them one dimensional. The way UK ran all over USCjr's defense in the first half last week would have me terrified if I were the OBC today. I look for future opponents to load the box against UGA which really has 3 or 4 quality RBs. Not sure Carolina's defense is up to the task today.I just can't comprehend how Chubbs keeps running like he does. Load the box and make them beat you through the air. Seems easy, but apparently it either hasn't been done or hasn't worked lol.
USCjr plays Stanford today
USCjr is South Carolina.USCjr plays Stanford today

I was thinking exactly about the Vandy game Grumpy. They gave you all problems for three quarters, but were wore out in the fourth. Does Carolina have the horses to keep it up? I don't think so.That could easily happen, USC has played us extremely well the last few years and have won more than their share. No doubt USC will put 8 in the box, and man up on the outsde, if we go 2 TE they will go 9 in the box, Vandy did it the entire game, 8 and 9 inside the box within 5 yards of the LOS. If we keep refusing to even attempt a pass downfield I might not even cover the receivers occasionally.
To the other guy who ask how Chubb is still able to have some success with 8-9 in the box every snap, he has great vision and balance and has incredibly strong legs and hips, he is squating 700+lbs, with that strength and balance he is hard to get on the ground.
I also think the kid that came in and almost lead them back last week at QB is better than the starter. This is a huge rivalry game for these teams and South Carolina as an underdog has turn the tables on Georgia more than once don't underestimate the visor he'll put together a great game plan for this game

As weak as USC is in the secondary and knowing for sure they're gonna load the box and might even give you a ton of cover 0 looks, I'm thinking this might be Lambert's last start. I don't know much about your QB situation save to say I know it can't be great since you accepted Lambert as a transfer. I don't know if the guy backing him up can do any better, but if lambert can't throw on USC, he's gonna cost you the East IMO.
1 Didn't watch UV last year So I didnt know much about Lambert other than his bad stats and had lost his position. Supposely we are going to see the other 2 guys today, and go from that. 1 had a big time are, but I think coaches are afraid he is a turnover machine.. The other is a smart guy and more athletic than Lambert. Give them a shot, how much worse can they be. But you are correct, we can't win the East with the an play we are getting.
As for as rivalry goes, UGA hasn't seen it that way. We look at Tech, AU, UF and IT as much bigger rivals while USC looks at us as their number 2. Hopefully we are ready mentally tonight, but with what we are getting out of qb, it may not matter. Its hard for me to understand how we can be that weak at the position. I guess that's how it goes when you miss a couple years in a row.
Joey Galloway and the know it alls at ESPN choose the false narrative that SC sucks.
Watching UNC thump Illinois tells me that SC probably does not suck. But, how UK can beat SC is something that is not in such experts' toolboxes, but to conclude they must suck.
They or may not "suck" but with their schedule I do not forsee a very good overall record.
