If you're on Vincenne's and didn't hear about Roy being in town, you must have been out of town. Cal has work to and the U19 team is the perfect time.
NA and Floyd County is big time Hoosier territory. That's why I have enjoyed the past 30 yrs so much! Can you explain your comment & reasoning on "New Albany is very PRO/ANTI UK and UL so I don't see EITHER school landing him" ?
Seems like a confused mess. If the city is PRO one of the schools how do you digress said school has no shot at landing him?
You're not in much of a position to be a smartass when you confuse people with your piss poor sentence structure.Simply insert the word "IU" into the sentence. Pro (this word means supports) IU and anti (this word means against) UK and UL.
FWIW, TJ Walker reiterated last week on the paid forum that going to a team that can win and compete at a high level will indeed be a factor to Langford. Sounds like you could be on to something.bonbyellis, I strongly disagree with your assessment of Romeo's talent, but you're more than entitled to your opinion.
I disagree. He is the real deal. Will be as good or even slightly better by the time his FR year comes around than Monk or Murray.
As someone who works on Vincennes St in New Albany, has seen him play over 20 times, and know plenty of people involved in New Albany sports, I haven't once heard UNC mentioned seriously. IU will be on his final list, but he has no desire to go there with the team they will be putting on the floor. I feel the same with UL. UL & IU are going to be DOWN this year. IU more so, but IU will be lucky to go 500 & UL will be lucky to sneak into the tournament.
Romeo wants to win as he has repeatedly shown at New Albany and his efforts in the S16 to win titles in HS. IU and UL do not give him that opportunity.
It will come down to UK and Duke for Romeo. One will get Reddish and the other Langford. No chance that they play together, in my opinion. UK has a lot to offer when it comes to minutes and has shown excellent success in Murray, Monk, and Fox at bringing in OAD players, turning them into stars, and getting them drafted higher than was expected. Just look at Fox and Monk rise in all the mock drafts.
IU and UL have shown nothing of the sort and give him no chance of winning the tournament his one year in college. That's why he ends up elsewhere despite what he says to appease both fan bases.
Romeo to UK and Reddish to Duke would be my guess right now, but that could change. I'd be fine with getting either one, though.
I'm not saying I'm super connected to Romeo are talk to him frequently, I'm just pointing out the facts as I see them and UK/Duke offer Romeo what he's looking for in his one year in college. IU & UL don't. He will continue to appease both fan bases, but end up in Lexington or Duke when it is all said and done. Choosing IU or UL will cost him millions in draft position and give him no chance at coming out of college on top. For a kid that is a winner through and through, they don't offer him the opportunity he wants in his OAD year.
After seeing what those 4 teams do on the court this year, UK and Duke will show him what kind of school he wants to spend his year in college at.
All in my completely worthless opinion, as always

was with you until this. I don't think anyone thinks UofL will struggle to be a .500 team this year. IIRC, they are top 10-15 in every poll I've seen, maybe higher after the kid they got last week.IU will be on his final list, but he has no desire to go there with the team they will be putting on the floor. Yes, I have no idea what that means. Have you been to New Albany?

This short post blew my mind. Time for a bourbon or bed to recover.
I agree. Neither of them have much of a chance at all.
So I’d say they’re about equal.
Tell me his name doesnt scream kansas.
I hope your right! Hearing Louisville could be a favorite
Talked to an IU fan from NA at the baseball regionals who knows the family and seems to think it's between otis and iu with iu now the leader with the coaching change and some interaction with the dad...
Everyone always seems to think that it will all work out. Because its Cal........I find that problematic.
Better ask Keyser. His name?? lol --- doesn't "scream Kansas"
Why is it so hard for people to understand that Cal is not always right.

Better ask Keyser.
He's right when it comes to recruiting more than anyone else.
Plus, he'll likely be coaching Langford all summer. If I was a Louisville/Indiana/Duke/Kansas fan, I'd be really nervous right now.
UNC is very much in this. In the area as well. Duke is the perceived leader but Cal has plenty of time to make that up. BTW he hasn't said much at all let a lone anything to appease any fan base.
Why is it so hard for people to understand that Cal is not always right.
Betcha the "perceived leaded" thing changes if Langford makes the U19 Team and Cal has access to him all summer.
Ah, maybe so - but he did say "this year".....either way, it's been a long while since Louisville struggled with .500, not sure it's wise to count on it anytime soon.....Fairly certain he meant UL will struggle in 2018-19 when Langford would be eligible for college; not this coming season.
You guys are sniffers
Did you start another mullet? I really like Cal, but he is far from perfect. He actually wears strange things
I just kind of get tired of all of you talking about how fantastic Cal is.........he is flawed just like the rest of us.
His name?? lol --- doesn't "scream Kansas"
Ahhhh yes. He will certainly know lol. After all, I mean... duh right ? We can definitely get an idea of where a kid will go based off of his "name" lol...
Smh lol "his name screams Kansas" That's a good one.
All along I totes thought Malik Monk screamed Syracuse . Doesn't it have a Syracuse ring to it ?
