a 5.7 3*** who we were heavily after as well. Says that Holgerson convinced him they were going to have a good team next year.
You win some games and these guys will come. I think if we were able to beat another team and get those 6 wins and go to a bowl then we would have been landing some better prospects.

From what I've seen the staff backed off him. Not sure how heavily they were after him as of late.

We were never heavily after Dowdy. After decommitting from Pitt, he said Kentucky would be his top choice. Last week, he said that he had not heard from Kentucky in weeks. If we were heavily after him, he would be a Wildcat now.

It seems the staff regarded Dowdy as a guard. I do agree we are short on tackles but it's not looking very good that we fill that need in this class.
