He's really not, that is why we took Siesta. If Hurt wanted to come I am sure Cal would gladly make room, but he didn't take Siesta thinking he was getting Hurt too.
Hurt will go to Duke along with Hampton.
They'll play a 2/3 zone with Jones and Hampton up top and Hurt, Carey, and Bolden along the baseline. That hides Hurt on the defensive end and keeps Carey out of foul trouble.
Ellis, O'Connell, Moore, White, and DeLaurier give them a good mix of talent and experience off the bench.

Hampton is Memphis bound. Jones coming back killed Dukes shot at him. Hurt to Duke for sure though.
If Herro returns, K better pray that happens! Me personally, I don’t believe it will.
Well, his decision date is the 19th. He follows all Duke players and coaches on social media and the official DukeMBB page. He commented on Tre Jones message that he was returning with "my guy". All the national experts are picking him to Duke.
Now, add all that to the fact that shortly before he made his plans public Cal recruits and secures a committment from a grad transfer who plays the same position. Almost like Cal knew what to expect.

FYI, Slater logged a pick for him to Memphis shortly after Jones announced his return. Slater is a Duke insider so doubt he would pick an opposing team without good insight.
Then say that then. You talk as if they are facts that you know. If you are simply going by the crystal ball picks logged at the moment, your word is not very credible.
I didn't say that is what I was going by. I just mentioned it as reference to the point that a mainstream media member connected to the Duke program is stating he has information to beleive he is going elsewhere. I have other information regarding it that I find very credible as well. Adding the 2, it's very hard not to conclude he is going to Memphis. Unless of course you didn't want to come to that conclusion.

Cole anthony? I think so...been thinking of buying a futures bet on unc...something tells me that anthony paired with bacon is going to be something special. The freedom of movt and hook hold emphasis helps them a lot. 22 to 1 odds...hmmm
Antwann Jones announced he was transferring from Memphis today in a move many believe is a play for Hampton. If they land Hampton, their lineup looks pretty strong and they’re still in it pretty deep with Quinones and Watford. Would have to be considered a second weekend type team if just a couple dominos fall.
Memphis could get Hampton. Hagans back meant no chance with Hampton.
Jones back could knock Duke out for Hampton too.
KU seems very distant. Memphis could end with quite the class. Their league and schedule will likely have them highly ranked if Penny can get them coached up.

Who is playing SG for Duke next year? O'Connell? Seems like Hampton could go there at start at SG.
I respect your input on this board, but that bench isn't very impressive. DeLaurier is a journeyman who is a serviceable bench player, but O'Connell couldn't get more PT because he can't guard a sloth. White went 0-January and February from 3.
They have Goldwire, Boogie Ellis, O'Connell, Baker and Wendell Moore who is listed as a SF but he is only 6'4, so he is playing in the backcourt a good bit. You add in Jones and that is 6 guys in the backcourt. While Hampton is better than any of them, he is not going there with that many other guys and knowing Tre Jones will be the primary ball handler. Not to mention Carey and Hurt will be getting a lot of touches as well.
I don't know their bench or roster (duke). I just think Hampton would likely look at Memphis and think, I can get all the minutes I want at PG there.

How am I agitating by stating that Hurt is in fact going to Duke? I am not even a big fan of Hurts game. He is more Wiltjer 2.0 than anything else in my opinion. I would much rather get McDaniels. Plus we nabbed Siesta who is similar in skill set but better built and experienced in the college game. How does that agitate you ?
