Rivalry

do you guys think that this could have been a shot in the arm for a resuscitated rivalry between two historic programs.

I say this because of late, UCLA has been easy pickings for us. I say add them and their bought championships to the list of hungry dogs chasing after us.

I don't like the loss, but I like the idea of an Eastern v. Western team rivalry.

Nah, UCLA is not a rival in my eyes.
Too far away and we don't play them often enough.
