You are twisting her words. Calling Barnhart a good Christian had no connection with the topic of men in women sports.
The awkward part is that it was mentioned at all tbh. What if he wasn't Christian? Would that mean he's less of a good guy? Odd comment to make in a national interview.
She respected how he dealt with her and respected her. Saying he is a “good Christian,” for some people gives context. If he wasn’t a Christian, she may have said “he is a very good man.”

Christians often admire others who live by Christian values. That's all. Nothing negative was said or implied about non-Christians.
If she really wanted to piss people off she should have said Mitch is a good Jew or good Muslim, and if she really wanted to piss people off she could have said he’s a good football first AD.
When I was an atheist/agnostic, I probably described a person as a good Christian when I felt they emulated what I thought Jesus would be. If you are an angry atheist, maybe you cannot conceive of using the phrase. And, yes, I don’t think all atheists are angry. Most are not, from my experience. You just tend to see them more on message boards and social media.

But I guess you did follow along far enough to see how she was coerced into accepting a male athlete in her sport, and not only by just the NCAA. That's my problem in all of this. If someone has gender dysphoria, or wants to believe they are the opposite sex of their birth, that's fine. I can live with that. If someone wants to identify as a tree, be my guest. You're not hurting me a bit, and I'll respect you so long as you respect me.
All of that said, human beings born as natural males will always have physical advantages over naturally born females in any sport. It shouldn't happen, and it should stop. This Lia individual was out there wrecking Olympic medalists that had worked their whole lives to compete in the sport.
