Rich Scangarello Out

Wonder if we have to wait the time out for the job to be posted

You may recall Stoops had his eye on a young guy, 37 or so I think but whose name escapes me, also with the 49ers, when he came across Scang while vetting the other guy. Anybody recall who that guy was?

You can't be serious about questioning my seriousness

If you think Stoops deserved a raise this year then you must be named Mitch.
Stoops raise is relative to revenue and headaches. I can assure you his headaches have more than doubled with NIL. The issue with your post is referring to Scan as a scapegoat. No, he was not competent for this job and was rightfully let go. What you're inferring with "scapegoat" is absurd.

Getting Coen back would be awesome. Doubt it happens. But there's still chatter that Sean McVay wants to retire to a cushy broadcasting job and a new head coach would bring in a new staff. Plus Stafford is washed, the Rams have the worst RB corp in the NFL and the whole franchise seems to be headed toward a rebuild.

Scang was a savant, according to all of the reports out of UK. He was an encyclopedia of football knowledge. White praised him. Stoops praised him. What the hell happened?
Knowing and doing are always two separate things.

Scang was just too rigid. He was all about the system and he didn't stray at all from the system. At the college level, you either adapt on the fly, or you end up getting fired. Scang simply failed to play to the strengths of the guys he had.

He can have all that knowledge and not be a good play caller. Levis said he learned more about being a QB this year than every before. I think Scang is great with QBs but not with other things that make a good OC.
