Outstanding! It doesn't happen all the time that a player helps his status/NBA prospects by coming back. Washington did it. and now Reeves, Love it!

That’s awesome! Threeves is a great player and one of my favorites of the past 5 years easily.
He can sure buy his parents something great already. I agree though he will set his grandkids up if he plays well the next 2 years. With the new salary cap guys like him will be super valuable to franchises. Guys who make 10-15 million a year but can play a decent sized role and shoot.

This is why I'm so blown away when people are shocked why these guys want to go. This is why Even a couple of years in the pros at that rate and you're set.
It's why I think sports and college/university should be separated. Or make it so a player is ineligible to be drafted unless they've completed two years of school. If they hate school that much, they can find some other avenue to play for pay.
It should but honestly with travel, the nutrition, and what they spend on their bodies it adds up. I know he can’t afford it but a guy like LeBron spends a couple million a year just on nutrition, and all the recovery things he does during and after the season.
You think LeBron pays for his food and supplies and shit? Dude is gifted everything through sponsorships.
He certainly pays for doctors, therapists, machines at his house. Things you wouldn’t think about.

For us it would be but we live a different life style.... Reeves did spend 4 years in college though so I tend to think he will be smart with his money.
Just got to hope that our players have the right dudes around them... or better yet no dudes. Keep that money growing and don't touch it but the bare minimum you need
I think 100% of this kind of contract is guaranteed. This is why NFL players are always talking about NBA contracts.
Now, the real question is how much of the $5mil contract will actually go in Reeves pocket? He’ll be out 50% of it right off the top to taxes and probably 3% to his agent. But a 2nd round pick getting a guaranteed 3 year contract this early is excellent for Reeves. Hope he gets a few more contracts. He improved every year and is poster child for how to improve your game each year.
