Reed noooo

I’m not rooting against Reed but I wouldn’t have had an Arkansas shirt on, never. Reed should have gotten to play more than he did while here. If you grow up here and your dad played here, I don’t see how you can wear their shirt on this day. He could always say he will pull for Arkansas when they are not playing Kentucky. Kentucky is different from any other program. When you bleed blue, you only wear blue.
You all are weirdos, that’s why.

The truth is he is going to make more money from his Nba contract in 5 years that his father and mother made combined in their life. Of course , he is going to show respect to the coach he feels helped him to get there.

Obviously, his decision last night showed his level of maturity. But we all knew he was not ready for NBA. The money was too good. He will hopefully learn that money comes and goes and money is not most important thing in life.

He will also learn now that gaining respect and love is a harder and longer process than losing them. From that perspective Cal and his parents didn’t do a good job preparing him for life. He is a produce of our times, where everything you do you post online for everyone to see.

I’m not mad at Reed. He only express his feelings and thoughts. It’s a free country.

Doesn't have a thing to do with what went down ON the court.
Really has nothing to do with nothing other than being something to deflect from the loss.

From everything I've read Reed bleeds blue. There's nothing wrong with being supportive of someone who was a part of your life for a year. I think most of Cal's players are more of hired gun types - let's get to the NBA, let's make $. And with NIL this will get/is worse. Some kids like Reed and Noah grew up Kentucky fans and it runs deep. I'm sure Reed wanted Kentucky to win last night.

Nowhere I said that this related to the loss. This is a normal gesture (social media post ) from an immature young man. We as adults should understand that and leave Reed alone.

Almost as bad of a decision as that mustache he was sporting.

That said, I care more about what the fans think than former players. We make this program what it is.

Reed gave us zero NCAA tournament wins, so whatever.

Reed and the former players can do as they please and rationalize it as they want. But actions have consequences. 🤷‍♂️

Jack Gohlke says hello.

You guys saying there is nothing wrong with that must never have played for a team before. Yes, there is all kinds of sh!t wrong with that.

He can compliment Cal all he wants.

He absolutely should not be wearing anything that can be seen publicly other than his HS, Wildcat or Houston apparel. I

f he wants to wear a jock with Cal’s likeness near his junk, that would be fine as long as he is not parading around taking photo ops in it.

Reed personally told me he had zero thoughts of coming back once cal was gone. He loves cal.

He doesn’t bleed blue like we all assumed. He was never torn on coming back.
I got that sense pretty soon after he left too. Part of it is kids these days just dont buy into the whole tradition sentimentality like older generations do. Kinda like they dont really get the Patriotic thing either.
