is adding Lux pretty much a wash with what Production India brought to the table?I think trading India raised the bar on performance.

I wouldn't consider Lux "a wash" anymore on this team. Reds went out and acquired someone with postseason experience and can play multiple positions. Comes from a winning organization which is a breath of fresh air compared to the losing attitude the clubhouse has had previously. India wasn't happy here and was ready to move on. He wasn't wrong, but starting off Royals ST making the same comments regarding Cincinnati after Bell was fired prove it was time. Trading a grump for a ML arm like Singer so they don't have to fool with Carson Spiers anymore, and later trading for Lux to play throughout the IF and some LF. I'll take the 2 for 1 all day in this situation.is adding Lux pretty much a wash with what Production India brought to the table?
Typical Reds medical approach. Play ineffectively as a result of pain hitting .225 all year. Knew what the issue was and don't fix it during the offseason. Start off the season still dealing with soreness and limited with the possibility of missing time down the road. Where have we heard this bullshit before? It gets tiresome.![]()
Cincinnati Reds Spencer Steer shoulder issue persists, throwing plan delayed for new exam
Spencer Steer, one of the Cincinnati Reds most versatile players, has been limited to DH duties this spring by shoulder soreness lingering from 2024.www.cincinnati.com
Got down yesterday on Reds over 79.5 wins.
Francona stated a couple weeks ago with the injuries that they will play it safe and won't rush him back when he resumes.Sounded like if they can get Abbot on track to get stretched out to five innings by the time they break camp, there's an outside shot to have him ready by the second turn in the rotation. Since the day off on day two will allow them to do that. Doubt that happens, knowing the Reds, but that was what I read.
