Reds

is adding Lux pretty much a wash with what Production India brought to the table?

Projected 2025

India
AB 514
BAVG .251
HR 13
RBI 57
OBP .351
SLG .392
OPS .743
DEF -8.5
WAR 2.0

Lux
AB 434
BAVG .258
HR 11
RBI 51
OBP .335
SLG .398
OPS .733
DEF -5.5
WAR 1.1

India is a worse defensive player, but with a little more speed. Lux has more power and better defense. Wash, perhaps. But the pitching overall should be significantly better, which will help offset the bad defense of Lux and since the Reds didn't do much at all to address the offense, his power will be appreciated.

I wouldn't consider Lux "a wash" anymore on this team. Reds went out and acquired someone with postseason experience and can play multiple positions. Comes from a winning organization which is a breath of fresh air compared to the losing attitude the clubhouse has had previously. India wasn't happy here and was ready to move on. He wasn't wrong, but starting off Royals ST making the same comments regarding Cincinnati after Bell was fired prove it was time. Trading a grump for a ML arm like Singer so they don't have to fool with Carson Spiers anymore, and later trading for Lux to play throughout the IF and some LF. I'll take the 2 for 1 all day in this situation.
