How close would he be to MLB ready? 2025 most likely? On to the draft. My guess is the Reds take RHP Lowder out of Wake.

Polished pitcher, wouldn't be surprised a late '24 showing in Cincy. How close would he be to MLB ready? 2025 most likely?
It depends, as Sam LeCure said in the pregame show today it is not necessarily best for the player though referring to CES. He said it is a good problem for the Reds but that narrative has changed since the beginning of the season when many of us questioned the outfield depth within the organization. Still weak in the pipeline and need a solid outfielder in the draft for a few years down the road. Thankfully Benson and Friedl have turned it around, Fraley stay healthy for the most part and Steer willing to be the one to make an outfield transition.Unfortunately that’s a good problem to have. I hat the thought of moving India, that’s something that would have to happen in the off season. He’s too much of a clubhouse leader right now, but he could bring a nice reward in the form of a solid SP.
Not going to get anything for Senzel or Newman. They're expendable but that does not mean there is a huge demand in the market for their services. Players like them in MLB are a dime a dozen. For the time being, Senzel is cheap and best used off the bench with his versatility.CES is blocked by Votto right now. That likely ends after this season. I don’t think they’ll move him. I would actually think there’s a handful of others they’ll move before him. Maybe Marte. Have to think Newman is pretty expendable at this point, one of the catchers not named Tyler is expendable too. Even Senzel has elevated his value somewhat this season. I just hope the Reds style of play makes them attractive to some of the better free agent SP’s in the offseason. I think it’s going to be difficult for them to land any pitcher at the trade deadline. Too much competition and would have to give up way too much. Lots of teams still in the hunt and solid pitchers are tough to come by.
MLB Network analysts like the Reds draft so far. Hope the Reds have plans on transitioning Stafura to a new position if they plan on keeping any of the current infielders or prospects in the next 5-10 years.
Stafura looks like an OF to me, don't think he has infield talent skills to be a threat to current Reds.MLB Network analysts like the Reds draft so far. Seems like an odd fit, don't know that he would be their hitting coach if it wasn't for Boone. As stacked as that lineup is with power hitters, Sean Casey was not much of one during his career. They should have hired one of their own in Don Mattingly or Tino Martinez.Didn't see that coming but there is a relationship playing with Aaron Boone. Always thought he would be good in a coaching role for the Reds in the past.

Yankees Name Sean Casey Hitting Coach
The Yankees are hiring three-time All-Star and current MLB Network broadcaster Sean Casey as their hitting coach. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.www.mlbtraderumors.com
Maybe for that team. It is a trial run through the end of the year. Wouldn't be shocked if they look elsewhere at the end of the year. I think Casey would make a fine manager someday with his player relations and delegate the coaching to the position coaches. A players manager like Dusty.Seems like an odd fit, don't know that he would be their hitting coach if it wasn't for Boone. It is a good entry level position if he is going to be groomed as a manager someday. The 'player manager' approach though does not always work out. David Ross while he has had to deal with a fire sale, still under .500 and they spent money over the offseason.Maybe for that team. It is a trial run through the end of the year. And heavy emphasis on college guys who should hopefully be closer to MLB ready or at least be shoring up the depth in the higher levels of the minor leagues in the next few years6. Ethan O'Donnell - OF Virginia
7. Dominic Pitelli - SS Miami
8. Carter Graham - 1B Stanford
9. Logan Van Treeck - LHP Lipscomb
10. Graham Osman - LHP Long Beach State
Beats me. Will never forget the way he went out flipping off the fans. Should have never experimented with him as a starter. Outside of his All-Star '04 season which was still shaky in itself, never was the same pitcher after starting and flamed out way too early. I don't doubt a bit that '03 season starting him had quite a bit to do with it later on.Danny Graves had a fine career but how itf does he get in before John Franco or Rob Dibble?
Totally forgot about that but he referenced the incident during his speech apparently. He was still a great closer, just the timing that I don't get. But with the fans voting, it's obviously a popularity contest.Beats me. Will never forget the way he went out flipping off the fans. Should have never experimented with him as a starter. Graves is also fortunate no one is hardly left if anyone in the organization today to hold grudges since that incident took place in the Carl Lindner years instead of the Castellini's a year later after he left in '05. I guess time heals all wounds, he worked as an analyst on FOX Sports Ohio and briefly last year on the Bally pregame shows for Cincinnati to help redeem his image.Totally forgot about that but he referenced the incident during his speech apparently. Btw, all the Nasty Boys should get in. Not just Dibble.
Totally agree. I'd throw in Francisco Cordero as well at some point at #2 on the Reds saves list.Graves is also fortunate no one is hardly left if anyone in the organization today to hold grudges since that incident took place in the Carl Lindner years instead of the Castellini's a year later after he left in '05. To be quite honest, I don't put much stock into the timing team for Reds Hall of Fame inductions with the real Hall of Famers this Cincinnati franchise has had over the years when you go back and look at the timing certain players getting in before members of the Big Red Machine. Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame members The losing since the 90s will also water it down with the exceptions of players like Votto, BP and the likes. Being the franchise saves leader, Graves should be in but definitely don't hold him in the same lore as an Aroldis Chapman for the overall impact of his Reds tenure even if it was shorter. All 3 Nasty Boys should go in at once though, only way to do it right.
Absolutely with Cordero, 150 saves in 4 years is remarkable. He is deserving and have to give him a lot of credit helping bridge the gap in the late 2000s and the closer of the NL Central Championship season until Chapman was ready in '12. Probably one of the best FA signings in the Castellini era and was happy back then he left Milwaukee for Cincinnati.Totally agree. I'd throw in Francisco Cordero as well at some point at #2 on the Reds saves list.

He is another good one much like the Cowboy and from just as a player would get in before Jeff if it were up to me. May not have had the longest Reds careers but both were very effective in the years they were in Cincinnati.Absolutely with Cordero, 150 saves in 4 years is remarkable.
