Obviously you guys are excited about Kentucky's run, but I think what often gets lost in the shuffle is how big wins like last night are for recruiting. I was texting someone very close to a five-star 2015 target and they were telling me "Why wouldn't you want to be in on this? Everyone is talking about Kentucky. Everyone is watching Kentucky. All they do is win."
And it's true. If you're a big time recruit you want to play in big time games like last night. Towns may have made himself the No.1 draft pick with his performance.
Obviously Calipari has an easy sell when trying to get guys to come to Kentucky. His NBA record says it all. But teams playing in these big games is eye-popping for recruits.
