When I was down at the Cat Walk there was a decent-sized crowd of recruits. Earlier games aren't going to get as many. Probably a lot of late arriving kids today.

Saw:

Gunnar Hoak
Jaylin Bannerman
Kobe Smith
Kayaune Ross
Elijah Hollis
from Cincinnati (Ohio) Sycamore (with a group)

THOUGHT I saw Obinna Eze, the 2017 OL

There was a small group from Louisville Central.

Spoke with Kobe Smith's father. Archer lost last night in the Georgia state playoffs and their family made a quick trip up. Seem very solid with Kentucky.

Kobe outperformed four-star DT Julian Rochester in a recent playoff game. Last night's game featured UL commit Robbie Bell. Not sure how Smith played individually. "Got better as the season went on," his dad told me. I told him I heard he was a little banged up at the start of the year and he said, yes, that's true. Really like that kid's potential.

UK assistant coach Andy Buh went over and put his hand on Smith's neck in a kind of friendly embrace at the Cat Walk.

Kayaune Ross is very big. C.J. Conrad went over and greeted him during the Cat Walk.
