Our so called bigs are extremely weak underneath the basket. Mitchell gives some size and strength.

I’m thinking we should just go back to starting Mitchell at the center spot like we did in the early part of the season. That certainly was working better than starting one of the 7 footers has gone.

He’s probably out another 3 games but seemed ok to be up jumping around when Reed was dealing in the 2nd half. I mean he couldn’t suit up and maybe give 7-8 mins in the game???

3547 vs 775…and people want to dismiss his importance due to a couple bad games.

Those numbers above, if you were curious, are the number of minutes playing college basketball. The first number is Tre Mitchell. The other number is our other bigs(3 7 footers including both Ugo years and I threw in Burks as well).

Just another example of Cal roster mismanagement. In an age where bigs stay in college forever due to being useless in the NBA, we have one grown man post player on the whole roster.
