Maxey/Quickley I can't see playing too many games. They've proven their worth unless the Knicks want Quickley to handle the point more and work on that aspect. I've read a lot of snarky comments about Kevin Knox's placement on Summer League team but he's still very young and he didn't play a lot after a Pandemic adjusted season, so smart and ego-less decision. Applaud him. It's about trying to find a way to stay in the NBA, not worry about jokes at your expense.

I wish Kevin Knox the best, but he, compared to the hundreds of other players in the league, is in the top 10 of worst players in the NBA. He's just not a very good player compared to his peers. Luckily for him he's still only 22(turns 22 next Wednesday) years old. No way you give up on him yet. At least I'd give him a couple more seasons.

Spilt milk, but wish he had come back for a second year at UK.

If you go to Vegas on occasion, I'd really recommend doing it in August to see some of these SL games- especially a year when we send a bunch of kids to the NBA. The tickets are pretty reasonable... I had second row seats in Thos & Mack for about $120/day, and I swear there were 15+ games a day between Thos & Mack and Cox Pavilion (open seating) a 2-minute indoor walk. If you attend towards the end of the SL event, the veterans start showing up for the last games- not to play, but to see each other in Vegas and support the young newcomers to their team. It's a lot of basketball, but I really enjoyed it.

I’d do it if I was there. Have really enjoyed the games on tv the last couple of years.

There's always been some Danny Almonte folklore around the birthdate of Suggs locally. lol

But if it's 2--still crazy (from Knox perspective) seeing he left after '18 season.
Interesting. Wouldn’t be the first. Shabazz Muhammad lied about his age. Udoka Azubuike is still claiming to be 21.

Had game on not paying attention and I heard “ out of bounds, off sestina”.
i was like, why does that name sound familiar? Hmmmm

I hope all the ex-cats play well and make the roster either G League or NBA. I don’t like seeing them go overseas.

I have to watch him and BJ. See if they can actually play or what. Neither looked close to an NBA player here.
Whitney played harder last nights in 15 minutes than he did in his time at UK. Hit 2 nice threes, one off the dribble, and had a nice cut for a bucket. He won’t be making the roster, but at least he looked like he knew what the game of basketball was.

That’s crazy, I don’t understand how they can look so lost here and then play in a game like that.
